President Tinubu Calls for Support for the Poor, Honour for Troops in Christmas Message

For the second time in 24 hours, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has rekindled hope for a prosperous Nigeria, assuring citizens that the nation is on a path of restoration and progress.

In his Christmas message, the President emphasized the need for compassion and unity during the festive season. He called on Nigerians to lend a helping hand to the less privileged and to honour the country’s troops who continue to make sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and insurgency.

“This season reminds us of the power of love, generosity, and resilience. Let us all support those in need and salute the bravery of our armed forces who are working tirelessly to secure our nation,” Tinubu said.

Meanwhile, governors, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and other prominent leaders have joined the President in spreading messages of hope and unity. They urged Nigerians to remain optimistic about the country’s future and to continue contributing to its growth and development.

The leaders emphasized that the challenges facing the nation are surmountable and reiterated their commitment to addressing the needs of all citizens while ensuring lasting peace and prosperity.

As Nigerians celebrate Christmas, the calls for love, unity, and resilience serve as reminders of the collective efforts required to move the country forward.
